2) Second Tipz: For really quick petz breeding: Feed and water both petz to be bred, let them nap on the pillow (If they want to), let them play with the Auto Rolling ball for a few minutes, then spray the female with the perfume, and both of them with the Love Potion, and then put all the thngs in the supply case. After a while(If they havn't bred yet), spray them with the Love Potion again. (This works for MOST petz) 3) Third Tipz: To see all there is to see of the petz playscenes: Go to your desktop and right-click. Go to Properties, and then go to Settings. Somewhere it should say 'Desktop Settings'. If you go to the place that says '1024 by 768 pixels' and then click OK or APPLY (WARNING:Do not go beyond the 1024 by 768 pixels mark.), your screen should be smaller, and when you go into Petz3 or 4,you should be able to see everything in the playscenes! (Picture of Desktop Settings is below)
![]() 4) Fourth Tipz: To take a picture (In Petz) really quick: Press the spacebar.
![]() 5) Fith Tipz: (This is a kewl one) To Brush or pet your petz without having to click on them countless times: Go into Petz, and then take out a brush. Keep holding the brush, and while doing that, take a picture with the spacebar. If you move the hand over the window where you took the picture, you'll notice that your hand is still your hand. Without clicking anywhere, take another one. Now you should notice that instead of a hand (If you move the hand over the window where you took those pictures), you have your cursor. Now click on CANCEL. If you were holding the brush the whole time, the second you move the hand over your petz, the brush should automatically brush them!
![]() To do that petting them,do the same steps but instead of holding the brush, pet your petz. 6) Sixth Tipz: To make a shortcut to a porgram on your desktop: Go into MY COMPUTER. Go to whichever porgram you wish to make a shortcut to,and right click on it. Go to CREATE SHORTCUT. Now there is another program just like it except there is a little arrow in the left corner. Now,take that one, and drag it onto your desktop. Now you have created a shortcut to that program. Whenever you click on that shortcut, it will take you to that program. To change the icon/picture of that shortcut, read the next Tipz. 7) Seventh Tipz: To change the icon/picture of a shortcut/program on your desktop: Right click on one, and go to PROPERTIES. Then go to SHORTCUT, and then click on CHANGE ICON. There might be a bunch of other pictures there, and if you would like one instead of the one that you have now, click on it and then click on OK. If you would like another one,or you would like one of your petz' pictures instead, click on BROWSE. If you wanted a petz picture go to your PetzPix folder. (C://Program Files/PF. Magic/Petz3 (or PetzII or Petz4)/PetzPix) Select which picture you would like, and then press OPEN. That picture should now be the new icon for that shortcut/program! 8) Eighth Tipz: To make a fat petz thin: Go into Petz3 (or PetzII or Petz4).Go to the Toy Closet. Have everything put away that is on the floor. Take out a lot of Auto Rolling balls. It may take a few minutes,or a few hours. But,your petz will get thin again. 9) Ninth Tipz: To make a petz different colors: (Like This)
![]() Go into Petz3 or 4, and then go to the clothes closet. To make this design: paint the petz white. Then put two socks on them. Now paint the petz black. Take the socks off. And there you go! Try different designs, some are really kewl. 10) Tenth Tipz: To change your petz' clothes quickly and easily: Instead of putting clothes on and off your petz, try putting the clothes on the floor and the petz might think it's a toy. They'll go over to it and the clothes will go on the petz automatically.
11) Eleventh Tipz: To make your own Petz Litterz or New Breedz: Go here 12) Twelfth Tipz: How to change the text at the bottom of the PetzII, Petz3, or Petz4 loading screen: First, you need to go into your Petz Resource folder (C://Program Files/PF. Magic/Petz3 (or PetzII or Petz4)/Resource). You will see a text document called either petzsplash, dogzsplash or catzsplash.txt, depending on if you have catz, dogz or both installed. Open one. You will find (I opened petzsplash.txt) at the top a number, and then ***NUMBER OF MESSAGES*** beside it. ![]() I think it's pretty self-explainatory. But anyways, the number you see represents how many messages there are for the loading screen to display. Go ahead- mess around with the messages. Add a few, delete a couple... ok. your done. Now what you need to do, is make sure the number of messages matches the number at the top. If you added a couple, add a couple to the number at the top. Get it? good. ok, that done, go into your petz program. Do you see your new message appear? yes? good. No? Remember that it does take a while to get through all the messages, so it will appear- sooner or later. :)
